It was a Sunday morning on September 15, 1963 in Birmingham, Alabama. Four children named Addie Mae Collins, Denise McNair, Carole Robertson and Cynthia Wesley, were all getting ready to lead an adult service at the Baptist Church called "The Love That Forgives." It was 10:22 AM when a dynamite bomb exploded right underneath the basement where these 4 girl were getting ready. This bomb killed all four girls including the younger sister of Addie Mae Collins named Sarah. About 20 other people were injured from this bomb. Later Birmingham found out that this bomb was planted by members of the Ku-Klux-Klan (or known as the KKK) and that this bombing was a terrorist attack .
